Needles and doo-dahs. A/K/A...now NOT to go crazy shopping for the basics

How confusing is it to walk into a shop and see tons of gadgets, needles, thimbles, etc staring at you. You have NO idea what's good and what's not. I have a lot of hints and tips on deciding and trying out different needles. The 'why's and what-for' of each. Completely unbiased and not sponsored by any company, just experience and what worked for me. It's all in the book!
